The Blue Ridge Abortion Fund’s work is grounded in the belief that funding abortion is an act of radical care. Proceeds from swag sales help us support nearly 2000 callers each year!
All community members, regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, age, gender identity, or where they live, should have the agency and the resources to make their own decisions about their bodies. Since 1989, we’ve been working to make access a reality for people who face financial barriers to abortion care.
Abortion is still legal in Virginia, and we support people from or traveling to Virginia for their abortion. Funding offsets not only the cost of their abortion, but also supports their travel, lodging, childcare and meals.
We envision a world where everyone receives supportive and compassionate abortion care in their community, and we are committed to making sure that anyone can get the abortion they need.
